By using HITAZOS you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
HITAZOS is a music-trivia platform operated by Marolabs. It includes three modes: the daily hitazo (three songs, 30 seconds each), real-time multiplayer matches (rooms with up to 16 players), and custom packs you can build from public Deezer playlists and share. The service is offered "as is" — we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or freedom from bugs. Part of the feature set is free; the rest is available through the optional HITAZOS Pro subscription (see section 5).
Music and rights
The 30-second previews come from Deezer's public API. All rights to the recordings, compositions, and cover artwork belong to their original owners (artists, labels, publishers). HITAZOS does not host any music and claims no ownership over it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use HITAZOS to submit automated scores (bots, scripts), scrape data in bulk, choose offensive or misleading nicknames, abuse multiplayer rooms by harassing other players, or use the service for any illegal activity. We reserve the right to remove inappropriate nicknames from public leaderboards, delete packs with offensive content, and block identifiers or accounts that abuse the service.
Notifications and emails
We offer two optional channels to remind you about the day's hitazo: browser push notifications (daily) and email (a Monday recap). Both require explicit opt-in and can be cancelled anytime. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link compliant with RFC 8058. Push notifications are managed from your browser's settings or from the Notifications section of your profile. Unsubscribing is free and immediate on both channels. If you're invited to the Supporter program you may also receive a one-off invitation email.
HITAZOS Pro and payments
HITAZOS Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks longer matches (up to 10 rounds), larger multiplayer rooms (up to 16 players), all music genres, up to 10 custom packs, and other premium features. Billing is handled by external providers: Lemon Squeezy (international billing in EUR, €3.99/mo or €29/year) or Mercado Pago (Argentine pesos, at the rates shown on /pro). The subscription auto-renews at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your provider account — your Pro access stays until the end of the period you already paid for, with no additional charges. We do not issue refunds for periods already billed except where required by law. If a provider rejects a renewal payment we'll try to contact you by email before downgrading your account to free. Apart from Pro, we offer the "Supporter" role: access with the same benefits as Pro, granted free of charge and entirely at our discretion (for example, to community contributors). It is not a paid subscription — no charges, billing, or refunds apply. To keep it active you must play at least one multiplayer match every 30 days; if a full month passes without a game, the role automatically reverts to the free account with no prior notice (you lose nothing else: your packs, scores, and account remain intact). We may grant, decline, or revoke this role at any time without stating a reason.
User content (custom packs)
As a user you can create custom packs from public Deezer playlists and share them via a public link. By doing so: (a) you represent that you have the right to use the content and to share it in this format (limited to a 30-second preview via the Deezer API); (b) you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute your pack within the service while it remains published; (c) you're responsible for the name, description, and song selection you choose. If a pack contains inappropriate or offensive content we reserve the right to remove it without prior notice. Shared packs also appear in a public community directory, and anyone can save an independent copy to their account; those copies are not deleted if you later remove the original. How many packs you can keep depends on your plan. You can delete your own packs from your profile (deletion may be limited depending on your plan).
Liability
HITAZOS is provided without express or implied warranties. Marolabs is not liable for service interruptions, lost scores, streaks or packs, third-party payment provider failures, or any indirect damage arising from your use of the game.
Service changes
We may modify the rules of the game, the day's songs, leaderboard format, pricing or Pro features, or any other part of the service. If changes affect personal data or active paid subscriptions we'll notify you by email with reasonable notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
